PostSubject: Light getting brighter   Mon Mar 29, 2010 10:29 pm

The glimmer of light mentioned in earlier posts has now gotten considerably brighter. It's still difficult to assertain whether it is the end of the tunnel or not but we are more hopeful.

Padraig and I had a very constructive meeting today, 29th of March, with Mr Eamonn Brennan, Chief Executive of the Irish Aviation Authority.

For the first time we believe that someone at a senior level in the IAA has a good understanding of the problems facing both the IAA and the NMAI.

We have arranged a further meeting with Mr Brennan and his team for the 26th of April and as a result we have asked the IAA to hold off on publishing their response to the Comment Document SRD.F.203, ( Due to be published on April 16th ), until after this date. They agreed to this request and have stated that they will now publish their responses in May.

As a result of what we percieve to be significant progress, the demonstration at Aviation House, which included a march to the Department of Transport, rescheduled from Friday 26th of March, is now unlikely to take place as planned at the end of April.

All the best
Paul
